Never have I brought my torque wrenches to be calibrated. Don't even know where to start looking if I want to. The beam type I don't think it needs to be calibrated, nor is there a way to.
Actually in wrenching what I found most difficult to gage (or guess) with my 3/8" drive is the torque setting for 6 mm bolts. How do you get 10 N-m, or 7.4 ft-lbs using a 3/8" drive? I set my Craftsman below the lower range (sorry, the carftaman has a low setting of 10 ft-lbs, not 15) and leave it at that.
Guess I don't need a 1/4" drive after all.
