more about your motivation than of her intelligence.

So she doesn't know about Saabs, thats OK, not stupid. What does she like to do and talk about?

Based only on what you wrote, how you phrased it, and that you posted it, I could see her playing stupid if she was not having a good time. Perhaps she has no interest in Saabs (or any other cars), and sees then as nothing other than transportation.

You could go to dinner again to practice becoming a better conversationalist, one who seeks out ways to include someone else and get them talking about their likes, dislikes, and interests. You have other likes, dislikes, and interests than Saabs, don't you?

You may find out she excels at nonverbal communication and quickly figured out you think she is stupid. She could be someone who finds people who judge others by what they know about low volume car brands to be bores and not really worth getting to know.

Or you could find out that you have a lot in common, other than Saabs.

If you only want to go to dinner with her to satisfy a suspicion that she is stupid, save her the aggravation and don't bother. If you are interested in finding out if you have something in common that you could build on, give her a call.

Did you ever think to wonder if she might have posted about her date with you on some website, asking others what they thought about you? She wouldn't be that crass, would she?
