WAY OT: advice dealing with a friendship/relationship

Okay so I know this is really weird to ask in this forum. A gal (who is a dear dear friend) seems to have a thing for me and she has made that evident through nonverbal signals and more clearly on a recent commnication. I'm not sure I'm interested (yet) but don't want to lose the friendship. But I am a little uncomfortable. How should I respond?
1) Ignore the email completely, and continue treating like a friend
2) Respond politely and give a nice excuse (not interested, let's just be friends, or not ready now)
3) Stop everything, end friendship
Thanks...
