don't know about you, but I'd be stone still if anyone had a gun on me, and within reason (hands up, don't move, lay down, give me your money, get out of your SAAB, give me the keys, that kind of thing - material stuff is just that) and follow their commands. And that includes an officer of *any* age size or sex, and for that matter a civilian too. I'd hope everything could be sorted out later for the best, but I would be paying close attention to everything that happened.

Otherwise, as my neighboor says, I'd have "failed the personality test". Too many instances of people getting shot for failing to follow easy instructions. It's been reported, video of it happening shown on TV, it's a just a known outcome.

To restate, I'm sorry it happened, I'm sure just about everyone is. But the end point could have been avoided.
