Very early thursday morning I was traveling on thruway near catskill exits when a truck tire suddenly appeared right in the middle of the left lane i was traveling. There was no time to react and nowhere to go with a trailer on my right. I just had to drive right over it. Thinking back, it was laying still so I don't think it came off the trailer on my right. There were many tire pieces shredded all over the area. I didn't immediately stop, thinking in panic just in case it could have been from the trailer and I needed to stop the trailer. It was dark so hard to realize what had happened right at the moment. To make matters worse a couple of seconds later I ran over the tire a metal object over a foot flew right into my windshield cracking on the driver side and hit right between front and rear door leaving a huge dent on the door seals.

I signaled to stop the trailer but it ignored me. I was in panic and something was dragging at the bottom and I didn't know what happened so I stopped right after the hit by the metal. The damages were the viggen front bottom spoiler was ripped off hanging on one bolt which I had to cut out later. Surprisingly the super low viggen front bumper didn't break. It must have just ridden it out. But, something went behind the bumper and took out the temp sensor and dented the bottom of IC and a metal hose near it. No leaks and no apparent muffler damage but slightly louder hollow noise at idle near the middle of the car. One fog light assembly was loosened and the window sills between the front and rear doors deeply dented breaking the rubber seal on the rear door. My wife's keep telling me I could have been worse and yes I know, but is there anything that I can do to get help from anywhere like thruway, or is it one of those things that you just swallow and forget? BTW, catching no salmon in the salmon river full of salmons didn't help the matter at all.
