Back from when I used to do automotive market research for a living I'd break the categories like this:
0-3
3-5
5-7
7-10
10+
Given what I can tell about the folks here we will see a bias toward the higher end if this is done across the whole board. It may differ if it is categorized a bit differently, maybe by people who have or have had multiple Saabs, versus people who are new to Saabs. Another way to break it is by model line. Reason being is that Saab owners, at least on TSN, seem to keep cars longer than average. A lot of us DIY and people who do their own work also tend to keep cars longer.
It does make for an interesting poll. A lot of Saab owners I know--who aren't necessarily Saab or car "enthusiasts"-- do keep their cars 7 to 10 years, so the relative longevity of these cars may make people more inclined to keep them longer.
Look at the initial responses to this thread: Several people, myself included have kept a single car for 20 years. That's almost a human generation. Think about that.
