Bought new:

1995 Volvo 850 Turbo wagon - bought new, traded on Viggen 5 years, 75K, no A/C later...
2000 Viggen 5 door - kept it for four years..got sick of torque steer and a bad 1-2 shift that dealer wouldn't try to get fixed....
2003 9-5 Aero wagon - four years and going strong...just bought the extended warranty...will keep it another 3, at least. I love this car!
2006 9-3 Aero convertible - new in Jan. 06...love the car, plan to keep for 5 years...although that 335Ci BMW with the folding hardtop looks mighty nice!

Bought used:
1991 900TC SE - bought in March 2003 had it for three years, then I drove a new 9-3 Aero conv...and didn't have parking for both...car was mint, should have found spare parking for it! :-(


Then, there's the non-Saab, used buys...
1989 Peugeot 405 Mi16 - project #1 - acquired March 2000, no plans to sell
1991 Peugeot 405 Mi16 - project #2 - acquired August 2006, car is MINT...no plans to sell. Most fun lightweight FWD car I've ever driven! And easy cars to work on...surprisingly!

Next new car is either a new Saab 9-5 in '09 or a Mercedes E320 Bluetec turbo diesel....27/37 city/hwy and 6.6 to 60 is pretty awesome, and new diesel engines are amazing now. Maybe Saab will bring the 1.9 TiD or 3.0 TiD V6 from Europe by then?
