this one 8-).

If you want a Saab that is great on the highway, there is no better cruiser than a 9-5 Aero. If you are open for another make, that is a different thread, but you said you wanted a Saab.

I don't know whether you want used or new. If you want a slightly used one, get the best loaded 2003 9-5 Aero (sedan or wagon) you can find. If you go for a new one, get a loaded 2007 9-5 Aero.

The Viggen (yes, there are 4-door Viggens) or the 9000 Aero (I still have mine) are great cars but they are not that great as highway cruisers (ok maybe I should have said the 9-5 Aero is better). It is the 9-5's ease at high speed that no Viggen or 9000 can have.

I don't know where you live, unless highways in your state are smooth as glass, I would not like to spend too much time on the highway in either of these cars, not with my old bones 8-).

Highway gas milage for the 9-5 Aero can easily be in the 30+ MPG and up, depending on how you drive. I am not talking about driving 55MPH to get these mileage, you can do 70-80 MPH and you get 30+MPG.

If it snows where you live, get four sets of good snow and you can go almost anywhere.

It's a no brainer.

Me, driving wife's 9-5 Aero today 8-). My 9000 Aero is alone in the garage.
