Simplicity used to be owned by Allis-Chalmers, not J.I. Case (both were farm tractor and implement manufacturers at the time). Simplicity and Snapper are now both owed directly by Briggs & Stratton, possibly why so many Kohler engines are now being used in the other brands.
Simplicity mowers give a beautiful cut and appearance to the lawn. The decks are deep (cut much better than others when the grass gets a little too long), fully float on the tractor (almost no chance of scalping a hillock in the lawn), the decks are very easy to remove for cleaning for mounting other accessories (I speak from experience here - I spent much of my formative youth mowing 5 acres of lawn!), and the full width rear rollers will give your lawn the MLB outfield appearance of alternating stripes (guys always think this looks cool).
