I like Soobs. She hates them. They are really asking quite a bit for Subarus cosidering how uncomfortable the seats are. the WRX has made them pretty popular around here. Also, the Soob used market is pretty lean.
I went to the dealer with her last night where we arrived at $5000 down + $239 at 72mo/4.9% for a 2007 5spd Sport Hatch w/sunroof+6cd, 17" rims. This ends up being $17,200 before interest. Kbb.com shows invoice being 17,018. Fact of the matter: she won't buy it unless she gets to $200 per month. (15,000) All this aside, it is an awesome car. What I found attractive is that all 3 trim levels have the same suspension w/17" stock rims and the 2.3L so you can get a stripper model which will handle just as well as all the others that have the extras..
It will be interesting to see what happens. As my father said, theres only so much blood you can squeeze ou of a turkey before it dies...lol.
