Dogfood recommendations

All the recent dog food troubles have really started me to consider what I'm feeding the girl. After we adopted her she really would not eat a thing for about a week. I tried to start her out on Eukanuba. We called to see what she had been eating before and they told us it was Purina Beneful. So, we bought that and have kept her on it since as she eats regularly and seems to like it.
I did some research last night and found out what really goes into dog food. I always new it was subpar to most "human" food but honestly had no idea about the real ingredients (mostly bi-products).
So...I bought her a small bag of Science Diet tonight and am going to see how she likes that. Much more $$ than other food but I only wish I could feed myself on roughly $25 a month....she's certainly worth it.
Any thoughts/opinions on Science Diet and other higher quality brands? She tends to have a sensitive stomach but....maybe that could be contributed to the crap in Beneful.
