Every spring I head to my storage barn to get my 1962 Comet out for the summer, and every spring I just have to laugh at how this car can sit for 7 months, I check to make sure the tires have air, then I crank it for 20 seconds, it starts, I let it idle for a couple of minutes and then I drive away.
It runs like a champ, goes down the road straight, and really never needs anything except to drive. Being a 62 it still has fins and white walls, so there is a cool factor as well.
Old iron rocks.
