Nice piece & good luck investing. There are quite a few outstanding stocks out there and the bulls are in control. WHEN the market has CLEAR direction or trend I trade options. Why settle for 10-15% when you can get 50%! In an up market like now you can buy calls or sell puts. In a down market you can buy puts or sell calls. For a good discount broker, above topic, I use OptionsXpress. Other than commissions a good & quick fill is important. ETF's (exchange traded funds) are another vehicle which allows investors nice alternatives. Did you know you could trade crude oil as an ETF, without having to use the futures market? The symbols are {OIL} and another is {USO}. {DIA} closely follows the Dow, and {QQQQ} closely follows the Nasdaq. Now if only I knew as much about my Saab! Happy Investing.
