I can't guess "how high is up?" re the stock market, but many of the business publications that I read have indicated that with corporate profits still very strong, the economy fairly healthy overall (excluding housing), and moderate interest rates, that stocks are still fairly priced and not overvalued. Over the years I have never flipped back and forth between equities and fixed income investments, just stayed in the stock market in what I thought were conservative stocks and mutual funds, and it has worked out fine overall.
