Hi,
Thanks for the email. Our prices are less in most cases because we buy
in large quantities. With all of the lawsuits involving tires recently
does it make sense that anyone would sell seconds or blems?? I don't
think so. It's not worth the risk, especially for a large company that
has much more at stake.
Ask the guys from Sears how often they order from Tirerack...
Anything OEM is more stringently tested because the auto manufacturers
have a ton of potential liability. As you know there have been plenty of
issues with OEM tires at the same time. More of the testing of OEM tires
has to do with the application they are being used on as opposed to any
additional testing that isn't already utilized for all tires
manufactured.
Hope this helps.
Best Regards,
TTR
I sent another E-mail asking for a simple unambiguous yes or no answer, and they said they do not sell blems or seconds.
Best all,
C
