. . .and there are plenty of opinions about them. They have a learning curve (pun fully intended) and some don't get used to that. The more recent ones had public input and some of the gravel truck drivers got involved, so the center of the circle gradually slopes upwards so the long trucks can get through without going up onto a curb or over plants & such. It's working quite well, save for the highly testosterone laden in large trucks that now just go straight across them & actually catch air on the inside ramps.
I share your rage at the other dimwits. We have a plethora of tourists in motorhomes or pulling large camping trailers. It's always VERY entertaining to see one whip out at 47 mph to take the entire passing lane to pass another doing 46 mph with 25 cars behind both.
