from brooklyn! i left there last year because of the BS! but then i lived 5 blocks from atlantic, and the same from bedsty, and frankly, i now would not take on a case like sams unless i was prepared to go all the way (not talking about lawyers here!). this is why i am frustrated for him that the police are not dealing with it, because some people take things personally, and despite the fact that no sane person on the planet would hold anything sam does against him, i don't think we are dealing with a sane person (he crashed into a house and ran away, despite the car being in his name???). he will probably have a vendetta (spelling??) against him in a second, so i feel his dilemma. for the money, walk away, fix the house, it's just not worth it. i personally have many stories of being some sort of a victim in an accident or less, and found myself being faced with a not too different dilemma-hence i just got out of there. some people just don't belong on the same planet as law abiding, respectable folk, sad as it is. nothing to do with skin color, by the way.
just my 2c's (rarely worth anything!)
ps, chaz-greatest respect for you, followed your posts for a long while, you are obviously a stand up guy who has helped countless people on this site, so no offense!
