My lease is up end of March. Saab's offer: if I buy or lease a new GM vehicle by 9-29-07 they will forgive 2 months. But I will still owe them at least 4 - 5 months. Plus they get my car 6 months early when it is worth more and has less miles. Plus I have to buy before the '08's are out so they get rid of a '07. Plus I made a small downpatment and would loose the balance of that. I can get $1000 more but only if I buy a car thus helping them get rid of an end of the year car and giving me a car with instant extra depreciation. In contrast I went to a BMW dealer in July and they offered to buy me out too. I would pay 4 months and they would pay 4 months. Better deal and I did not have to work for it. I am sure it could have gotten better. If I wait until I have two months left the offer is gone. Maybe there will be a better one.
