Exploring the possibility of a Timber Frame construction, or log home.
Small local companies for both in the area.
3bdrm, master on first, 3rd bdrm may be loft.
Open floor plan, kitchen opening into dining/living area with open ceilings type of thing.
Any experts here with wealth of knowledge on the subject?
My land doesn't have dramatic views but wooded area does present some scenery.
Budget may compel stick frame, or perhaps purchase of used home.
Although buyers market, that hasn't presented too many attractive opportunities.
Keeping the land with existing camp on it remains an attractive alternative (except for the non-homestead taxes).
Seen enough designs and plans to make one's head spin.
With appologies to the homeowners, this home sticks in my craw!
