My sister dumped her 02 linear 9-5 wagon for a bmw 3 series wagon and despite the lack of space, seems to like it. She's a lawyer, maybe bmw is more presigious? I traded my 02 arc wagon for a jeep last year(dumbest thing I've ever done) and came running back to saab 3 months later, mostly for the comfort. But it's a newer saab, an 06 wagon, and the difference just from 02 to 06 is depressing. I love the "aero" engine and performance, but the cheap black plastic and shoddy workmanship that was put into this wagon is depressing. I wonder, too, if my next car will be a saab or not, and I feel bad in advance if I leave the brand, but short of finding a well cared for older saab, there isn't much of a choice unless they step up and put a little quality (and some money) back into the brand.
