plus, the fact that Saab does not have a 9-5 story to sell each new car season hardens opinion about it. I nearly threw the "new car issue" Motor Trend through the window recently when they repeated that old business about how the car hasn't been changed in years and is overdue for a change - I would suggest, if it's good the way it is, the only reason to change is to make the marketers and writers happy.

However, there is nothing better in auto journalism than CAR magazine - it's worth every cent that goes up each year because of the terrible dollar/pound relationship. Top Gear, on the other hand, I quickly breeze through at Borders - the columns can be fun but I get everything I need from CAR. For those not willing or able to find these mags, Automobile mag is basically an American version of them (even sharing writers and photogs).
