I was really surprised when I started getting down to the wear bars so soon. I have always thought Continental were excellent quality tires, but that was way too fast on the wear. My paranoid mind (yes, it is an entity all its own) started hypothesizing ways that this could have happened. Check out this theory.
I purchased the vehicle as a CPO but opted out of the extended warranty because I was unsure of the reliablitly of the new body style, and engine, so I wasn't sure I was going to own it past the manufacturer warranty. I have been getting tire rotations through the dealer. They always have vehicles on the lot, what if they swappped out wheels and all for a more worn set from another vehicle or employee's vehicle?
How's that for paranoia? But has anyone else had that kind of wear on the oem tires?
