If you've been training regularly, you shouldn't have much difficulty. Definitely take advantage of the rest stops to hydrate and eat bananas, fruit, etc. Stay away from the cookies and other goodies they will inevitably have available. That will only spike your glucose levels and make you feel worse coming down off the sugar high. The key is to maintain a steady level of glucose/fuel in your system.

I would recommend increasing carb intake Thurs. and Friday with low-carb/high-lean protein (chicken) meals Saturday. Carb loading the day before can make you feel heavy and bloated. That's not enough time for your body to properly process and store those carbs either.

The other important thing is to hydrate well the next few days leading up to the ride. Drink water -- not pop, juice or energy drinks -- too many empty calories and sodium. If you're getting up once in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, you know you're well-hydrated.

And get plenty of sleep these days leading up to the ride. It's amazing what 8 hours a few nights in a row can do to the body.
