06 9-3 vert. This past weekend I was getting 38 mpg on the turnpike from pennsylvania into new Jersey. this is a very flat stretch of road and I was only going 60 miles before getting off on rural back roads w/ reduced speeds. Had cruise control set and zipped along at 70 MPH. I was quite impressed and was tracking my MPG and miles to empty as I began my journey in the red reserve area of the gas guage. So I probably only had about 3 gal of fuel to start the trip on. Yes, I wanted to get to those low NJ gas prices for the first leg of my trip and it worked.
:-)
