But there doesn't seem to be much of an advertising budget available. GM has short supply of 4 cylinder sedans, except Saabs. It seems like they should be able to sell them, but the EPA fuel economy ratings aren't that great. I wish Saab had kept the 175 hp 2.0 L LPT around, especially since it doesn't require premium. They should have testimonials of people, (like me) that can average 28+ mpg with half city miles and up to 34 mpg real world highway on my prior '04 9-3 Linear.
Saab can say, "we did it first and we've been doing the sensible thing all along," with turbo 4 cylinders. Now everybody else is copying.
Safety, efficiency, practicality, and style for a reasonable price. Why is it so hard to sell? Is it the reliability history? I guess so.
