Saabs aren't the best anything. But as a package, they are.

That idea could form the basis of an interesting campaign:

We're not the best....off road vehicle (picture mud bogging truck)...but our new XWD system provides greater staility and acceleration on dry wet or snow covered roads (picture soccer mom in Saab chewing through snow-covered road).

Or, "we're not the fastest (cut to Formula 1 Grand Prix race)... but our 45-70mph time is..(camera shows Saab police car overtaking a speeder or Saab at 130 mph on the Autobahn)".

Or, "we're not the least expensive (show some East European POS) but you can lease or purchase a 9-x for as little as $/month.

We're not a lot of things, just a whole lot more.
