Yeah, they get good mileage, but are totally not worth the trade offs. I drove one for a couple hours and was surprised at how well is rode on the highway. In a straight line doing constant speed, haha. It was so slow gaining speed that I felt unsafe. Merging onto NJ, PA, and NY highways was murder. I just floored it, the egg beater under the hood revved to a billion RPM, and I still went NOWHERE as I waited for the guy I just merged in front of to join us in the back seat. Plus it handles like a boat and looks like a space ship. Not for me, thank you. I'll stick to my 9-5 V6 that still gets 27 mpg highway.
