you gotta get a 951!! they are so fun to take on tracks and even just for a sunday cruise. but take your time finding the right one! it might be until next spring you find a worthy one. if you can find an '89 wow but the later 80's models are just fine. just like any older car look for oil leaks...see how it idles...temperature and oil pressure...etc. i really think its the perfect car for the price range. they are really a joy to drive and can easily keep up with newer cars on a track or the twisty roads. that said the 944 S are nice as well but i think you should get a turbo. the cars have a reputation for being expensive for parts/repair etc...but so do saabs....and i think if ya take the time to find a good one that you'll find they arent really that expensive especially if you work on the car yourself. best! and here are two fun articles that might help you decide.
