If I were you, here's what I'd do regarding your questioning of this (aside from the obvious of scooping some of the peaks to fill in the valleys, when needed)...
First, stop calling yourself "IdiotSam," and drop the negativity regarding any and all aspects of your identity and business. Even if your name has some humorous or other reference (other than calling yourself an idiot), or if you think you may be locked in to "extremely unlikely" prospects for "gigantic success," stop all negative references, and allow yourself to imagine ways to achieve "gigantic success," as a way of turning a wheel onto that road to more (whatever that is to you) success.
Don't limit yourself. In your business activities, don't divide aspects into those you think you are good at and those you think you are not. Sure, you can recognize that you do well to hire somebody with specific expertise to do some work for you, but when opportunities come along in business, instead of dismissing some of them (which many of us do) with "I'm not good at that" or "I could never do that," take the time to think creatively about ways you could make it happen.
If any of this makes sense to you, read the book "Thinking Big." It was written in the 50's so you have to get past some of the cultural novelties described, and period manner of writing, but it contains a lot of principles and examples that can get us past some of the largest obstacles we all face in business or life -- those that WE put in front of us.
Ok, now that I've gotten over my momentary desire to be a motivational speaker, I can move on to bigger and better things.
