Remember the Saab 96 series? the cute weird station with its 3 cylinders two strokes? or the V4? or the mystic Montecarlo? Saabs were a mix of weird, charismatic (like a VW Beetle) and in-between that pleased both ordinary people, hippies.. and business guys.. families..
Today's Saabs are mostly big, bland, and for the snobs. At 53 I do apreciate my 9-5, and I bought it because of the memories linked to my Saabs, and the fact that they are cheap to buy.. used.
See what Fiat did succeed with its legend Fiat 500

Where is the original spirit of Saab? while BMW revived the Mini, Mercedes introduced smaller models, even the Smart has something special..
It would be about time Saab means "original, innovative, passionate" and affordable for real people, designs..
In other words, with its actual position with GM, Saab is dying.
