OhSaabIAOH...I asked this on another board, but can you Posted by bender [Email] (#268) [Profile/Gallery] (more from bender) on Mon, 19 Jan 2009 15:58:01 In Reply to: Re: Question about block heater...used in 60-70degrees?, OhSaabIAOH, Mon, 19 Jan 2009 11:04:59 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Tell me where you installed the block heater on your car? People are saying it goes in the "freeze plug." I have no idea where that is. I was thinking someone could show me sort of where it is from the pictures in the link here. Or maybe someone has official instructions from Saab. I guess plugging the car in 60-70f might not be necessary :0) . I just figure, heck if I really love my car and it can actually reduce wear, I'll do it for 10 minutes before I drive off.
Yep. I am just getting one. I started the car with no plug obviously, at around -20f. The car started, but oh boy was it ever hard on me to drive it...it really felt like it was too much. Hopefully not too much wear, I drove it really easy until it warmed up. Now just to get the plug installed...
Thanks for the help as always.
