I'm a network admin. I picked up 2 for use for a project that has students in the field connecting to the campus wireless to send email results of on site surveys.
I was so impressed that I ordered one for myself. The first ones I ordered had 1gb RAM and 8gb Solid State drives. The one I ordered for my self 2 months later has 32gb of solid state drive, added bluetooth and a webcam for less money. I loaded it with XP Pro so I could join our domain, Office, Picasa and Itunes and it still has 18gb+ available.
It comes with 3 USB ports, Ethernet port, VGA port, SD and MMC card reader and wireless LAN. The power supply is not a brick like a notebook, rather it is like a cell phone charger. Rather than load it with all the desktop software I use at work, I added our VPN client and remote desktop into my servers and workstations to run the hefty apps.
I put all my mp3 files on a 16gb usb key and I've got some mini portable speakers and earbuds for listening or sharing.
I'm sold. The thing is awesome and I have no trouble with the keyboard. Granted I'm not typing a dissertation on it, but for away from the office work it is perfect.
If I can't find wireless, I can tether it to my other ultra-mini, an AT&T Tilt for 3G access.
