The inside is clean - but sales is also dependent about being liked and all that goes along with that - so my customers perceive that I'm a hard working guy - like themselves - and that I work hard to earn their business and don't live an opulent life style.
Been making over $ 200k for the past 5 or 6 years - and have time to golf, bike ride, ski, hunt, fish, etc - much of it during the work week.
But I also have 2 kids in college - and I'm not really all that much into a new car anymore, so as long as I can keep the Saab running - I'll drive it, and I do all my own work.
to answer your question - I sell IT services - DR, Data Management, Backup recovery , etc. I sell stuff and do consulting engagements - evaluations, design, architecture, etc.
Business is still reasonably good.
