Then again, there's somewhere in the middle. If a real estate agent shows up in a fancy Merc, I'd be cautious because that money came from somewhere, and I'm not shopping for a house to be impressed by the agent. Likewise, the smokey Jeep demonstrates a lack of awareness for others. Now, if an agent picked me up in a well-kept, older car, I'd be impressed with their diligence towards their own belongings.
The ideal Real Estate Agent cars (to me)... 9-5, 9000, 5er BMW, A6, E-class. But those are my tastes talking. Anything worth less than $20K would be good, and anything old enough to not be a lease item would be a plus as well. A Tahoe, Explorer, Pilot, etc... Even a well kept minivan would suggest that the shopper's comfort and ease is in mind for the vehicle's duty. Then again, I'm not a real estates agent's regular contact and he or she can afford to offend me ;o)
Now, if an agent came to pick me up in an immaculate SPG or shiny 850T or anything that's just oozing with character, I'll give mad props.
Life is full of continuums... must we always live at the ends?
