What kind of fuel stabilizer to use for storing a car? Posted by turrbo [Email] (#8) [Profile/Gallery] (more from turrbo) on Thu, 9 Apr 2009 14:21:47 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I bought a badass 9-3 convertible this morning, so my 9000 is going to be garaged until probably around October or November. It's going to be inside, in a nice, dry garage, locked up, sitting pretty.
I plan on inflating the tires to their max, stuffing the engine bay with moth balls to prevent mouse damage, and adding fuel stabilizer. I'll be able to drive the car up and down the driveway every few weeks just to keep everything circulating, but it won't be registered so no road time.
What brand/type of fuel stabilizer should I plan on using? Any other tips for storage?
Thanks! I'll have pics of the 'vert soon...not picking it up until Saturday.
