or so says a bumper sticker I see here in NH.
Some guys do need a truck with a lot of power because they really are "work trucks" and haul a lot of stuff, a trailer full of equipment, etc. But big load capacity isn't job requirement for a lot of guys in the trades. Funny thing is, I'm seeing more of the Super Duty type rigs over the past few years, and very few ever seem to have a big load in the bed. Mostly they look like they are commuter trucks. Then there's the white collar guys who have them (I know 2 personally) so they can haul a 25' boat or 5th wheel RV a few times a year.
What bugs me is how the drivers seem to think the things handle well and drive crazier than BMW and ricer drivers. But come winter it's fun to see them off the side of the road, buried up to the frame in snow when they discover 4WD isn't a vaccine for being a bonehead.
