I've been in CO since the late 70s - they were far less people here then than now. The guys in their 4 x 4 used to have a field day as the roads were a lot less congested back then. we had snow here a few weeks back and my wife left for work around 7:00 AM, called me when she got to work and said the roads weren't bad but the idiots in their 4 x 4 were terrible. A lot of these clowns just are in their glory when it snows and some do drive really recklessly.
three years ago I was heading to church for 8 AM Christmas service - this was unbelievable but dudes in their 4 x 4 were blowing by me and giving me the finger and cutting me off because I was going 40 on a 45 mph snow covered road - 40 was maybe too fast but these demented atheists were blowing by me doing well over 50.
Things have changed over the years - I still will generally stop and help someone stuck in the snow - and many a time a guy in a 4 x 4 will blow by with a big grin on his face - as in the comfort of his 4 x 4 he will nevr need anyone's help.
