...by many. Actually, many many Saab owners probably fall a little left of center!

I still think it is odd for a *finance* minister to spend time on this. I also hate it when governments feel the need to ban things almost arbitrarily. Market forces will make automakers change. Gas prices will force opinions on the right to change.

For me, that Volvo Recharge is genius. Those electric wheel motors have more low end grunt than a turbo engine. The Mini prototype has Ferrari performance and Prius economy! I would love to see a Saab based on that system - it is the future (imho). Especially without GM!
