We can leave how full you get it to your discression--you can stop at the first time it clicks off (or whatever) as long as you make sure you do the same at the next stop. Obviously there will be variations such as ambient temperature, relative humidity, tailwind/headwind, uphill/downhill, altitude, tires sizes/wear, fuel grades, etc that others may not be able to duplicate. Your mileage may vary is the operative word here--I don't expect the level of acuracy is going to be to scientific standards, we'll simply have to accept odometer and gas pump readings. Of course we'll depend on everyone being honest about it and revealing their techniques so we can all benefit. I just thought it might be intersting to see what can be done if ones pulls out all of the stops in terms of economy. I'd be curious to see what you car would do at 50 or 55 MPH.
