Why do they feel the need to imitate Euro cars? How many miles does the Infinity have? I mean, SAABs usually have high mileage in comparison to other cars of the same vintage... one of the main contributing factors to the the above average depreciation IMHO. As you pointed out, your parents do not drive the car hard and also do not mantain it according to specs. This kind of neglect will show up later down the oad. A lot of SAABs are also neglected maintenance wise and most some are not allowed to warm up properly before they are thrashed. Anyway, for years I have wondered why most Japanese car owners, including Infinity, choose to drive close to the unenforced Autobahn speed limit of 130kph. The ones that do drive hard, end up with repair cost rivaling Euro cars, in fact more because their car parts are astronomical.
