I can identify. A student was driving my trainer-car when suddenly, a bike came into the lane off the sidewalk and rubbed his handle along my door until he regained control.
On another occasion, clearing a left at yellow at a busy downtown location, an oncoming bike blew past my student out of his yellow/red. This was not a courier. They're normally smarter than was this dude although a courier coming in from behind me off the street (out of my peripheral vision) knocked me down on a sidewalk in the dowtown.
Toronto has recently shut down 9 major rights-on-reds in the downtown core.
