"cyclist attached himself to the car after an altercation". I'd probably try to get him off my car too. Who the hell knows what kind of a whack job he was. Not that I'm defending the driver for allegedly leaving, but hey, you never know. Driver could have just as easily been killed from the other guy's actions. It seems to me that the details are too sketchy to make any kind of blame decision yet. I'd like to see what any possible witnesses have to say first.
Too bad a Saab was involved.
I saw a bike messenger get run over by a bus in NYC right in front of my office once in midtown. He "attached" himself to the bus. When the bus pulled over to make it's scheduled stop, the guy got pinched between the bus and a cab, fell off his bike and the bus ran him over. Live dangerously, sh*t happens.
