Just last week I was doing yardwork and 3 baby squirrels ran up to me. They were literally begging for food and attention. I fed them some nuts (Planters)and once feed they kept following me around. I called our state's DEP and they gave me the number to a local Wildlife Santuary that ended up taking them. There was a dead squirrel last week in front of the house and I think it may have been the mother. There could be up to 8 babies, so keep your eyes open for others. They are very cute and they seemed to purr when they got close to me and when I put them in a shoe box to take them to the sanctuary.
