My wife and daughter are in Japan, so I'm doing a VERY remote diagnosis.

My wife is using gmail on a 13" MacBook running the latest version of Leopard (but not Snow Leopard). She's accessing gmail via Firefox 3.5. We got the computer two weeks before she left but it's my daughter's so my wife had not really used it until she got to Japan on Monday.

When she scrolls down a page (two-finger scrolling) she says the whole gmail window shrinks. I don't think it happens all the time, but it's driving her nuts. I have her checking Hot Corners settings and a couple other things, but she's not good on technology and trial and error is not her forte. She's tried restarting FireFox but that doesn't make any difference.

I have suggested she try using Safari in case it's a Firefox issue, but since we're 13 hours apart in time it's hard to suggest stuff and get immediate response, especially since my daughter also uses the computer to connect with friends back here.

Any ideas? I'm good on Macs but not sure on this one.
