My vote is for the sprint.
I have a '96 Trident, which was basically a naked sprint, and the more upright position is great for long rides. Bike is still nimble and fast, thus in my opinion the better choice.
I think the sprint looks more substantial yet still edgy.
And even though my 3 cyl is a bit older, you really can't hurt the things.
