Hated to do it, but couldn't hold out any longer for the 2010 9-5 with all the uncertainty. Couldn't believe the deal I got on a 2009 XF at one Jag dealer, payments not much more than an A4; absolutely no dealing at another. But..already in the shop twice with CEL and radio trouble, doesn't bode well. It was the closest to the "fit like a glove" feeling i got in 9-5. Audi A4 a very close second, but they didn't deal at all. Lincoln MKZ tied for second; actually better electronics than any european and very comfortable. The new E350 wasn't for me, not very comfortable; flat seats, felt every bump and confusing.
