what the recipe for success is for Saab. Retro might be a route, but one never knows what might stike a cord. How much of your money do you want to bet on it? Since they couldn't go back to manufacturing the C900 they'd have to develope a whole new car from scratch which would be very expensive. And truth be told there's nothing really wrong with the current offerings and planned stuff. It would certainly be a way for a new owner to hit the ground running (or perhaps walking). Maybe they could just get rid of some of the plasticy interior stuff and do a better job build quality-wise until they can come up with new models. They could even develope a retro model on the existing 9-3 platform (and maybe even sell both). There's certainly no shortage of ideas from the sidelines but ultimately those who are putting their money up are the ones who'll have to decide. I don't envy them.
