My 9-5 is 10 years old this month and has nearly 265,000 miles. I decided against replacing it with a new 9-3SS two weeks ago for a variety of reasons; my 9-5r still looks great, runs great, minimum maintenance, didn't want to liquidate some investments yet, etc.
But assuming Spyker is successful with their purchase offer, they will need some retail sales in a hurry. With the Opel Insignia and Buick LaCrosse already on the market, first year hiccups with the new 9-5 should be non-existant.
So yes, I may be purchasing a New Generation 9-5 soon.
