I've bought something large and slid it into my 9K while the guy from the store was amazed, and asked "What kind of car is this?"
A year ago a bought a big generator at HD. The box was about 2.5 x 3.5 x 2 feet. The HD guy and I roll it out the door on a dolly. The thing is not light, about 150 pounds.
I pull up in the 9K and get out. He says something like, "This isn't gonna work," and rolls his eyes.
I lift the hatch and in goes the generator. I could easily have fit two, maybe three. The guys was amazed. "What kind of car is this?"
"Just a nice old Saab," I say. "Your basic all-purpose, 140 mph Swedish sedan that doubles as a truck."
A hatch is a **requirement** in a car.
