I am going to resuscitate this thread, as I think it has new urgency with the latest news from GM.
Let's say that GM were to sell off Saab, but whoever takes it over would need to find a replacement vehicle to hold them over until they could develop their own car. What would be their best choice? What car would most appeal to a Saab buyer?
And what if in fact they couldn't use the Saab name? What if it had to be a Griffin or something like that? What would work as that kind of car?
